"Itoh Peonies and Lenten Roses"
I got my first ever Itoh Peonies from Vesey's 10 or so years ago. At least I think so! What I recall is receiving their catalogue in January of that year advertising Itohs which were unheard of at the time. They were expensive ( and still are) but the heavenly lemon meringue I chose has bloomed from the first year, and is simply stunning every year now.
Secondly, I have a gorgeous Lenten rose from Vesey's which has been vigorous from day one. The flowers are cream with a Scarlett centre. It has produced dozens of babies after only 3 years. I've transplanted a clump this week.

"THE WORSE SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD"
My snowblower has a total of 4 hours on it. THEY HAD THE MACHINE FOR 2 WEEKS BEFORE THEY LOOKED AT IT(IN FEBRUARY)? One of the cables broke and they had to order the cable in. This cable is a $30 part and they do not carry it... REALLY. I called again(3 weeks later), Eric said "Oh yeah the cable is here, we will put it on in the next couple of days." I had to get my driveway blown three times at a cost of $90 and 7-8 hours of shovelling out walkways... YES I AM SENDING THEM A BILL AND THIS IS THE LAST ITEM I BUY FROM THIS COMPANY... THE WORSE I HAVE EVER EVER ENCOUNTERED!

"Horrible Customer Service"
This is not a good company to order seeds from. Placed my first and last order and I waited 2 weeks and still nothing has shipped. I emailed them requesting where they are at in the process of sending out my order and they replied with a copy and pasted email from their website; see attachments. Didn't even take the time to actually look into my order and respond. I paid $18 for expedited shipping from Canada Post and they haven't even mailed it yet. They blamed Canada Post for delays when it's actually them who is causing the delays, as the orders aren't getting shipped in a timely manner. As a seed/gardening company I expect more from them! Late seed orders=bad harvests, as customers cannot get started on seedlings etc. this is something they know! It's their business to know! They're only interested in money and not in actual customer service. If they cannot keep up with order demands then they shouldn't be taking on more orders. I won't ever be ordering from them again.

"Delays, unfilled order, damaged products on delivery"
I loved the beautiful colourful catalogues and the promotional deals were very attractive as well. HOWEVER many weeks after placing my order only some products arrived with an indecipherable invoice and no explanation as to why the rest of the order was not going to be sent at all which I found out by phone. Still no reason given. No planting instructions. Castor beans crushed beyond recognition upon delivery. Incredibly disappointed at what was expected to be a very positive experience. Days later I am still waiting for my credit card to be credited.

"Low Quality Product, Poor Condition, High Cost"
I recently received a very disappointing Veseys shipment of Hostas, Peonies, Bulbs, etc. Entire shipment (opened immediately) upon delivery was in extremely poor condition. Small, dried bulbs, very small Hostas and Peony "starters". Extremely dissatisfied with this order. Complete waste of my money. Will likely never, ever order from Veseys again. Lots of other better mail order companies and local suppliers.

"Bad customer service"
After placing wrong order quantity, I contacted them immediately. Got my reply more than one month. Won't order any thing from them. Totally waste money and time!

"LATE shipping, LOUSY service, RIPOFF prices"
Do you like being gouged? ($20.95 for ONE peony root. Found Identical flower at local store offering TWO roots for $15.95)
Do you like pre-paying in January then waiting until end of May for your seeds? I'm still waiting! Do you like waiting for bulbs in the fall, calling Veseys and being LIED to that your order will soon be shipped? But instead, your order arrives at end of October before a snowstorm. So, of 150 bulbs I paid for - NONE produced a single shoot.
RUN AWAY from Veseys. They take your money months in advance, don't ship on time — AND to add insult to injury? Ship you crap you NEVER ordered. I waited nearly FIVE months on a pre-paid order. When it came? They substituted with crap that was CHEAPER that I didn't want and did not order. So: charged me a HIGHER price in January, then sent me cheaper stuff in May that I NEVER ordered.

"Customer service level iss terrible."
Their seeds are great and grow well but if you deal directly with Veseys when placing your order you will be highly disapointed. I was short shipped 2 items on my order and it took them 3 months to process the refund. I ADVISE anyone who want to purchase their seeds to go to a garden center and deal with them and leave the headaches to them. ALSO I have purchased seeds from MacKenzie seeds and they grow very well too so Veseys is not your only choice. My choice is to never deal with Veseys directly ever again and I will leave the grief and wasted time to someone else. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

"Too late to plant seeds and live plants are poor quality"
I placed an order in Jan./21 for seeds and 3 live plants (Haskap Bushes Collection, #*******). By the time Veseys sent the Haskap bushes, they had already broken dormancy (they were sprouting leaves). The stems of Haskap Bushes were so spindly and under-developed when they arrived that they failed to survive transplanting 2 of the 3 bushes died.

Veseys finally mailed the seeds but it was already May, so much too late to start the seeds indoors for transplant.

I contacted Veseys about the dead Haskap Bushes but they never replied to my e-mail.

I wouldn't recommend buying from Veseys.

"Where is my order?"
Almost 5 weeks and still no sign of seeds that were supposedly mailed over 2 weeks ago... I paid $13.95 for shipping (expedited?) and they were sent letter mail (less then $2.00 for a few packages of seeds) Customer service is nonexistent after several attempts to at least have part of my shipping costs refunded. Not impressed!

"Custom Quantity to Order Detail"
Second year in a row of ordering early. It is now end of march and late to start peppers, tomatoes and other longhaul crops that we still haven't received. They advertise in stock on their website and frequently send e-mails months later that they cannot fulfill the items - when its too late!. Last last year strawberries and raspberry canes were half rotting by the time they arrived and I lost 90% of the plants.

Will not do business there again.

"Don't waste your time. Refused to cancel order."
I requested this order to be cancelled. Sent an email today early. The email I received was that the order had shipped. I had requested it be cancelled in September as these were fall bulbs. Refused. Now I have to wait until the package comes and ship it back. Please don't bother!

"Terrible plants that never grew"
Do not buy from this company! I ordered several plant root from this company in the early spring. The roots for the ecinachea and strawberries looked miserable when I received them but I had bought good soil from Pic a Mix so I planted them along g with the rest of my vegetable seeds which I purchased from a different source. Out if all if those I have only one ecinachea about an inch tall. The rest never grew at all. They have been watered without fail every day. I will never purchase from them again and would not recommend them.

"Not an honest company"
I placed an order in March of this year (2020) and about 2 weeks later, I received an email stating they could not charge a bank debit card from the US so I asked them to cancel my order. Fast forward 2 months later, this month (June) out of the blue, they just charged the very card they told me they couldn't. When I called asking why 2 months later this would happen, they had no explanation. I did not receive our seeds either! I requested a refund and am now still waiting 3 weeks later, I have called over 4 times and am told over and over again they will refund my card but have not. I am extremely frustrated by a company that first states they can't accept my money and then just charges the card they refused months later, seems like fraud so I reported it to my bank. I highly do not recommend working with them, they are rude on the phone too. I ended up buying some amazing seeds from True Leaf Market and even with Covid 19 going on, they shipped out 1 week after my order.

“My success was 60% of my order arriving alive. After spending 400 bucks on my order. They will try to tell you the plants are dormant even if they're rotted or dry to the vascular Cambrian. Terrible experience I'm a professional certified horticulturalist I can save most plants but that order was a mess!”
